Ultra V® HIKO Korean nose threadlift, is a new trend in non surgical nose augmentation. By treating the nose in a 3-dimensional plane, HIKO threadlift not only adds height to the nose bridge, but it also makes the nose tip more prominent and nostrils less rounded, giving the nose look a sharper higher and more elegant look that can be comparable to traditional surgical rhinoplasty.
PDO (polydioxanone) 3-dimensionally designed threads are used and placed under the skin to improve the contour of the nose i.e. elevate the nose bridge and/or tip while stimulating collagen formation to lift and support the desired contour.
This treatment is performed under local anaesthesia and requires about 15-30 minutes. The number of threads required will be determined by our doctor based on the existing shape of the nose, and the results are visible immediately, thus ensuring that patients get exactly the type of result that they want.
HIKO nose threadlift is a procedure with a very good safety profile. In fact, it is even considered to be safer than injection of fillers. The procedure itself is done under strict sterile conditions, and the placement of the threads is done in such a way as to leave no visible marks after treatment.
How long does it last?
The threads gradually dissolve over a period of about 12 months, but the collagen that forms during that time helps to support the new shape of the nose for a much longer period of time. It is not uncommon for a HIKO Korean nose threadlift to last for up to 1.5 years – nearly twice as long as traditional nose filler.
